Happy Thanksgiving from The Black and Blue!

From The Black and Blue I wish to extend a happy thanksgiving to all readers of this site and their friends and families. I hope that wherever you spend your holiday, it is somewhere warm and that family doesn't make you take the pictures just because you know all that "lighting stuff."

So what am I thankful for?

This holiday I am thankful for cameras that can make my job easier like the Arri Alexa, the RED epic and iPhones for their powerful apps that up my own efficiency. I am thankful for those who recognize the difficulties of my job and those places I can go for help. I’m thankful for not being this guy and for rehearsals on set.

I am also thankful for this site, which, since I started it almost a year ago, I have seen record setting numbers pour in month after month. The trend continues this month, as the blog has recorded it’s highest monthly visitor count (in all categories) and it’s highest single day record for visits. Whether this is your first visit, your fifth, or your hundredth, I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read this site and for sharing what you read with others.

But I am thankful, most importantly, for friends, family and my loving girlfriend Kelly who is supportive of me in all ventures and the most loyal of my blog readers since the beginning.

Once again, thank you and blessings for the holiday.
